Inara is a collection of light fixtures inspired by the temple architecture and artefacts of Kerala, designed for 'Kiara Lighting' Calicut, Kerala.

Inara is created to resonate with the people of today who are an intermix of culture, who have learned to balance tradition and modernity. This collection is an ode to the current culture of Kerala which is new, unique and something you want to hold to.

The simple yet elegant appearance of Kerala temples and the graceful functional forms of temple artifacts feature a strong aesthetic and create a lasting impression on its viewers. The inspiration for Inara was drawn from these indigenous assets of Kerala.

Teak wood was chosen as the primary material. Every fixture in this collection is meant to last, maybe to be a heirloom. Something which can highlight your space, brighten up your mind; something nostalgic and meant to last. lights that brighten your space for today and the years to come.

Simple structural forms with minimal joinery and sharp edges are used as an attempt to make the design distinctive and to help create a strong impression on both contemporary and traditional spaces.
